Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of the Eastern Province, Saturday received Muhammad Naeem Khan, Pakistan's Ambassador to the Kingdom, and discussed matters of mutual interest. Pakistan, the Emir said, was very dear and close to Saudi Arabia and its prosperity and stability was very dear to the leadership. He said that Pak-Saudi relations were of strategic nature and it was the endeavor of the Saudi leaders to further deepen these ties. The Emir appreciated the contribution of the Pakistani community toward the socio-economic developments of Saudi Arabia and the Eastern Province. Assuring the ambassador that he will resolve all the problems faced by the Pakistani community in the region on priority basis, the Emir said allowing free medical camp and admission of Pakistani students to higher education institutions in the Eastern Province is under consideration. Ambassador Khan said the large Pakistani community in the Eastern Province is actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the region. The ambassador admired the economic development and prosperity made in the Eastern Province especially in the fields of petrochemicals and related industries.
