THE Kingdom, led by King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Royal family, bid farewell on Tuesday to Sultan Al-Khair who will always be remembered for his benevolence and magnanimity. The entire country mourned the passing of Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, with great sorrow as they have lost a great humanist, philanthropist and illustrious leader who dedicated his life to the service of his nation, the Ummah and the Arab cause. He was a great support to his father, King Abdul Aziz, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia, and to his brothers who succeeded the founding father - Saud, Faisal, Khaled, Fahd and King Abdullah, the reformist leader who has been supporting dialogue and the cause of humanity. Prince Sultan, who quietly helped the poor, was a humanitarian at heart. His ever-smiling face reflected his gentle nature, his spirit of compassion and his generosity for the less-fortunate in society. Those in need will surely miss him and widows and orphans will always remember his benevolent deeds. We all pray to Allah to reward him in the Hereafter for his generous contribution to humanity. __
