With his tender feelings and loving heart, Crown Prince Sultan dedicated his life for all types of humanitarian work, and Prince Sultan Charitable Foundation was the crowning glory in his philanthropic efforts, the Muslim World League (MWL) said in a statement here, Saturday. Expressing deep sorrow over the death of Crown Prince Sultan, the MWL offered condolences to King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, the Royal Family, Saudi people and the Muslim Ummah. It was with great insight the Crown Prince secured sufficient financial resources for the charitable fund named after him to achieve its humanitarian goals such as looking after sick and needy people, the MWL said. The statement said the Crown Prince was brought up by his father King Abdul Aziz and raised between his brothers in a way distinguished by the strict adherence to the Islamic Shariah, which helped him carry all the tasks assigned to him successfully. Crown Prince Sultan will be remembered for his love to help the needy, especially orphans and widows, besides providing all possible help to health, educational and charitable institutions. Apart from this, Crown Prince Sultan was a strong supporter of Dawah, and he used his position as Chairman of the Supreme Islamic Council in implementing many plans and achievements which benefited Muslims all over the world, the MWL statement said.
