Over 6,500 government vehicles are being misused by employees for personal purposes, the Control and Investigation Board (CIB) has found out during its recent field inspection tours. The CIB said government vehicles were being used by families and relatives of these employees for their private errands. Furthermore, the vehicles were misappropriated outside official working hours, sources at the CIB told Okaz/Saudi Gazette. Regulations do not permit such misuse of vehicles. Using vehicles outside working hours is strictly not allowed, the sources said.
