A fugitive on the country's most wanted list of 47 wants to turn himself in to the authorities. The list was announced by the Ministry of Interior on Jan. 9, 2011. A Ministry of Interior security spokesman said the family of Abdul Salam Abdul Aziz Rashid Al-Faraj has informed the responsible security authorities about his desire to return. The spokesman said Abdul Salam contacted his family expressing his need for help and wish to return to his homeland. Security authorities are making all arrangements so he can be united with his family. The spokesman said Abdul Salam will be treated according to procedures for such cases. His initiative to come back will be taken into consideration. The spokesman reiterated the ministry's call for all wanted suspects to see reason and return home.
