Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Anqari, Minister of Higher Education, has announced that the ministry is working on absorbing all high school graduates of this year at the country's public and private universities and other higher education institutions. This is in line with directives from King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on Monday, he said that public and private universities provided more than 320,000 places for high school graduates, an increase of 10 percent compared to the previous year, which means more than 90 percent of secondary school graduates can be accepted.
