The Ministry of Civil Service Saturday announced that the official working hours during Ramadan would be for five hours daily – from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. The ministry said the working hours have been set as per a Royal Order which also said Eid Al-Fitr holidays would begin Thursday Aug. 25 (Ramadan 25, according to the Umm Al-Qura calendar) until Saturday Sept. 3 (Shawwal). Hence, Sunday Sept. 4 (Shawwal 6) will be the first day for resuming duty.
