Banks in Saudi Arabia will be closed for Eid Al-Fitr holidays from Aug. 25 (Thursday) and will resume business operations on Sept. 3 (Saturday), the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) said. The Saudi central bank has also called on banks to keep some branches in the border and highly populated areas operational. The Saudi stock market will close on Aug. 27 for the Eid Al Fitr holidays and resume trading on Sept. 3.
