RIYADH Marriott Hotel is participating in the Riyadh Food Festival under the theme of “The Seafood Market.” The hotel management has transformed its Mosaic Restaurant into a dining place that offers live seafood cooking demonstrations. Khaldoun Hayajneh, General Manager of the Riyadh Marriott Hotel said that ‘The Seafood Market', has adopted a unique concept that's presented for the first time during the 10-day Riyadh Food Festival. He added that the festival is organized in cooperation with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA). “‘The Seafood Market' has been specially created for the occasion. We are proud to present the biggest Seafood market in the city for this festival,” he said. Hayajneh said that each dining table in Mosaic Restaurant has a fish bowl that offers a unique dining experience. Diners can also choose from a variety of fish available and order freshly-prepared seafood dishes specific to five different continents. The Mosaic Restaurant has been the venue for several successful food festivals in the past that included Greek, Spanish, Mexican and Asia Live cuisine and proved to be very popular with visitors in Riyadh, he added. Diners can pick from the stock of fish, order as much weight as they want and have it cooked according to their wish. Mosaic Restaurant – under the supervision of Executive Chef Hassan Warda and other specialty chefs – is renowned for offering guests the authentic taste of a diverse range of cuisines.
