BURAIDAH: Three persons of Asian nationality have confessed to the theft of 2,000 live chickens from a poultry farm in Qasibaa' in north Qassim. A police spokesman said that officials at the farm called to report that the chickens, worth approximately SR20,000, had “gone missing”, and witnesses noted the presence of the three suspects in the area prior to the theft. “The three were held and charges were put before them,” said spokesman Fahd Al-Habdan. “Having no other option with the evidence before them, they confessed.”
