BURAIDAH: A restaurant's deliveryman was attacked, severely beaten and the meal stolen from him by a man in his thirties who had placed the order in Qassim. Security patrols rushed to the scene and managed to apprehend the suspect, who was handed over to the northern police station in Qassim for interrogation and referral to the Shariah Court. In another incident a 20-year-old man was arrested for attacking and snatching the handbag of a woman walking in a street in Qassim. The woman reported the incident to the security authorities. The police retrieved the bag. Col. Fahd Al-Habdan, spokesman for Qassim Police, said the two culprits have been interrogated and will be referred to the Shariah Court for trial.
