More than two million worshippers, consisting of visitors, Umrah performers, citizens and expatriates, attended Isha (evening) and Taraweeh (post-Isha) prayers as well as recitation of the last chapter of Quran in the holy mosque this evening amid comprehensive services provided by government authorities and follow-up of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of Makkah Region. As is the custom of the Imam and preacher of the holy mosque every Ramadan, this year Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, the General President of the Grand Mosque and Prophet's Mosque Affairs, who led the prayers, managed to read some excerpts of the holy book so that reciting the Quran will be finished by the last day of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
