Madinah Al-Munawarah, Saudi Arabia, Ramadan 26, 1432, Aug 26, 2011, SPA -- More than 700,000 worshippers from all over the Muslim world and communities attended the closing session of reciting the holy Quran and performed Isha (evening) and Taraweeh (nightly post-Isha Ramadan) prayers in the Prophet's Mosque in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, it was reported. Thanks to the excellent services rendered by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the follow-up of Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah Region, the Umrah performers and visitors were able to perform their rituals smoothly and comfortably. Despite the crowd, security men, led by Major General Awad Al-Ahmadi, Chief of the region's police, and the follow-up of Brigadier Hamid Al-Raheeli, Commander of the Prophet's Mosque Security Force, in addition to the mosque's personnel helped facilitate the movement of worshippers, turning their rush to a smooth and comfort journey.
