A violent brawl between two female beggars at a traffic signal in Wadi Ad-Dawasir has been caught on camera. The two women, both illegal residents, had a heated argument before they plunged into the pitched fight. The mobile phone clip showed the abaya-clad women punching and shoving each other on the main road, with drivers swerving around to avoid hitting them. The fight ended only when a passerby intervened. The man who caught the incident on his mobile phone said the concerned authorities are ignoring the beggar menace in Wadi Ad-Dawasir. This has contributed to beggars taking to the streets and indulging in what has become a lucrative trade. He called for a prompt action to end the presence of beggars in the streets.
