YANBU — Two Saudi mothers threw down the gauntlet and traded punches at the Yanbu Corniche after their sons became embroiled in an argument over a kite. The fight started when the string attached to one of the kites was cut by one of the boys. They two began arguing and soon the mothers joined in and threw a few punches before a quick-thinking passerby bought a kite and gave it to the child. The women calmed down and everything returned to normal. — SG
