The Director General of Public Relations and Information Department at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Mara'oul, said that the Saudi Embassy in Sarajevo has received several telephone and written inquiries from some Saudi citizens about allowing the entry of citizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina without a visa and the Embassy said it had received a note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina that "citizens of the Kingdom are allowed to enter only by a direct flight from the Kingdom to Bosnia and Herzegovina". Major General Al-Mara'oul also pointed out that the entry of citizens of the Kingdom to Bosnia and Herzegovina is done as follows : - Obtaining an entry visa to Bosnia and Herzegovina. - Entry of valid and multiple visa (Schengen) holders, or a European Union Member State visa, or an appropriate residence permit in signatories to (Schengen Agreement) or European Union (EU) countries, and through these countries signatories to the (Schengen Agreement or the (EU) countries) directly to Bosnia and Herzegovina only. - Holders of diplomatic and private passports. The Embassy advises a visitor to obtain an entry visa to Bosnia and Herzegovina and abide by the length of stay granted to him/her at the arrival port so as not to be held accountable.
