The Riyadh Police have found the two-year-old girl who had gone missing from a mall on Friday. In a statement issued here today, a spokesman for the Riyadh Police said that investigations carried out by the Al-Naseem Police based on video evidence, a 23-year-old woman was arrested on charges of kidnapping. The Al-Naseem Police responded to a complaint on Saturday filed by Suleiman Ibrahim Al-Zewail, 34-year-old Syrian national, about his missing daughter, Shawq. Surveillance cameras showed the missing girl in the company of an unidentified female who led her out of the mall. Despite the lack of solid clues, the police traced the girl to a residential apartment, south of the capital. The kidnapper admitted to her crime and said she no relations with the girl. A person who was in contact with the woman over the kidnapping was also arrested. The woman is being held in the women's prison in Riyadh. The child has been handed over to the father after undergoing medical examinations, the spokesman said.
