RIYADH — Riyadh Police succeeded in arresting a suspect in the murder of three people in an arson attack in the city within 24 hours of the crime. Spokesman for Riyadh Police Col. Fawaz Al-Maiman said a 26-year-od man was arrested for setting fire to an apartment in Al-Naseem district, which resulted in the deaths of a 37-year-old woman and her 7-year-old daughter. Another girl aged 5 was injured. The man admitted that he burned the apartment after a dispute with the woman, who was his stepmother. In Al-Majma'ah, a youth suffering from psychiatric problems was arrested for stabbing another at a highway gas station. Meanwhile, the body of a man was found inside a rest house in Al-Muzahimiah. A suspect in the man's death surrendered to the police after investigators tightened the noose around him.
