Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh, minister of energy, industry and mineral resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held talks today with Elhaji Mohammed Yassin, minister of energy and industry of the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam, in capital Bandar Sri Begawan, his first leg of an east and south Asian tour. During the meeting with Yassin, issues of mutual concern to bolster bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the commercial, investment and technological, energy, industrial and mineral resources fields were discussed. Also discussed were a joint project between Saudi Aramco and the National Petroleum Company of Brunei as well as ways of getting benefit from the Saudi expertise in the field of refinery building and operating and the experience of SABIC and Maaden in the fields of petrochemicals and minerals. At an invitation of Al-Faleh, Yassin expressed readiness of his country to join the international energy forum. Al-Faleh was accompanied by a powerful energy and mineral delegation.
