The Riyadh Police busted on Friday a 10-member gang of seven Saudis and three foreigners who committed 59 robberies at gunpoint. A police spokesman said the gang broke into houses, shops, workplaces, and parked cars, stealing personal belongings and valuable items. They also waylaid passersby at gunpoint and stripped them of their cash. They used stolen cars for their getaway. The suspects, in their 20s and 30s, have admitted to their crimes. Investigations are underway to determine whether the gang is also involved in other crimes reported earlier to the police.
