The Riyadh Police have unraveled the mystery behind an expat driving one of its patrol cars in Riyadh after a video clip of the incident went viral on social media. After investigating the authenticity of the video, Col. Fawaz Al-Mayman, the spokesman for the Riyadh Police, said the expat was a technician from a maintenance center of the dealer, and was testing the vehicle after carrying out some repairs on its transmission. Col. Al-Mayman said the vehicle was under warranty and had to be maintained at the dealer's facility. The dealer later apologized for his ignorance of regulations related to driving government-owned vehicles.
