A gang of five people was arrested for theft of heavy equipment, according to the Riyadh Police. A spokesman for the Riyadh Police said the gang comprised two Saudis, two Syrians and a Yemeni in their 30s and 40s. They stole heavy equipment and sold them in the open market. A team of investigators analyzed the information available and tracked the suspects to a warehouse in Al-Sullay neighborhood, eastern Riyadh. The five men were arrested in an ambush while they were transporting two pieces of stolen heavy equipment on a truck. The warehouse raid resulted in the discovery of a number of stolen equipment. The men confessed to their crime and explained the role each one of them played and how they shared the spoils among themselves.
