Cloudy and partly cloudy skies are expected over the central and eastern regions of Saudi Arabia, according to a weather report issued by the General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection today. The report predicted a possibility of scattered rain over these regions. The weather report said that skies are also expected to be partly cloudy over the southwestern highlands, accompanied by thunder clouds over Jizan, Asir and Al-Baha heights, including coastal parts of these regions. Active surface winds that could reduce visibility in Madinah area and the western parts of the Riyadh region are also forecast. Fog is expected to shroud the eastern region, the southwestern highlands and the western parts of the northern borders at nightfall and early morning.
