AlQa'dah 29, 1433, Oct 15, 2012, SPA -- Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Shiekh, Majlis Al-Shura (Consultative Council) decided at its 60th ordinary session to reconsider the hierarchy of the General Presidency for Religious Research and Ifta. In a statement following the meeting, Dr. Fihad bin Mu'tad Al-Hamad, Assistant Speaker of the Shoura Council, said the proposal to reconsider the organizational structure of the Council came at a discussion of the General Presidency for Religious Research and Ifta's annual report for the fiscal year 1431 - 1432 H. The meeting also approved a draft agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Czech Republic to evade double taxation and prevent tax evasion on taxes on income, Al-Hamad said. He concluded that the meeting then continued a debate adjourned during a previous session on the expropriation of real estate ownership for public utility. The draft bill will still be discussed in a future session, he reported.
