Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has temporarily banned the import of poultry meat, eggs and their products and outfits from Arkansas and Kansas of the United States of America, due to the spread of ferocious influenza in both of them. By that, these two States will join six other US States (Oregon, California, Washington, Idaho, Minnesota and Missouri), from which the Authority has already banned the import of poultry meat, eggs, their products and outfits for the same reason. The ban's decision was announced in a statement by SFDA on its website www.sfda.gov.sa, The Authority pointed out that this is a temporary ban until the stability of the health status of livestock.
