Ayoon wa Azan (He manned up)
Published in AL HAYAT on 16 - 06 - 2013

Finally, Barack Obama "manned up" and announced the appointment of Suzan Rice to the post of National Security Adviser and Samantha Power as the US ambassador to the United Nations.
Rice's appointment does not need to be passed by the Senate. Furthermore, the president's Democratic Party enjoys a Senate majority and can therefore appoint Power. In case of any opposition, the president can appoint her during the Congress' time out, just like George W. Bush did, when he appointed the radical pro Likud, John Bolton as an ambassador to the UN, thus becoming the best representative of Bush's crimes.
Rice and Power are facing unjust campaigns, launched by the supporters of Israel, all of this because since they are liberal and very humanitarian. There are so many examples about Israeli supporters who are so loyal to Israel, that they put its interests ahead of those of the US and defend the Israeli occupation, crimes, racism, and Fascism.
Following the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Rice explained what happened, based on the reports she got from the American intelligence services, which contained some errors. The war gang thus attacked her, as if she had killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and his assistants with her own hands.
Rice should feel enough pride with the fact that Senator John McCain and Senator Lindsey Graham attacked her. Indeed, these two are supporters of foreign wars. McCain even visited Syria and met with the terrorists there. And thus, I condemn both parties of the civil war.
At this point, I will suffice myself with President Obama's defense of her, at a press conference last November when he said: "She made an appearance at the request of the White House and she gave her best understanding of the intelligence that had been provided to her. If Senator McCain and Senator Graham and others want to go after anybody, they should go after me. But for them to go after the U.N. ambassador, who had nothing to do with Benghazi and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence she had receive and besmirch her reputation is outrageous." This statement stands till this day.
Just like Rice, Power is accused of sympathizing with the Palestinians. Her past is a proof to that. In some interviews, she even spoke about the American war crimes around the world. She was once asked, at a Human Rights Center in Harvard, about a hypothetical situation where Human Rights are threatened through the Israeli-Palestinian confrontation. She responded by saying that the USA must come up with ways to solve the problem, even if these ways were to anger a local community with tremendous political and financial power, meaning the American Jews. She then took that statement back following a massive campaign against her, but her heart remained unchanged.
The American Likud supporters and the radicals almost went ballistic over the campaigns against Israel and the crimes perpetrated by its' government. A Jewish center called "92nd Street Y" came under attack for receiving Writer Alice Walker, the author of the famous novel, The Color Purple. Walker conducted an interview with Eve Ensler, the author of a very famous novel, the title of which I cannot translate to Arabic, because it is obscene. What was wrong with the interview? It lies in the fact that Walker supports the rights of Palestinians. She refused that her novel be translated into Hebrew and expressed her admiration for a book written by David Icke, a former British soccer player, who is obsessed I think, and who attacked the "Zionists of Rothschild" and their crimes against the Palestinians.
Secretary of State, John Kerry, is subjected to campaigns on a daily basis, because he is trying to come up with a solution. The ministry of defense is also subjected to their campaigns, whereby they opposed the appointment of Chuck Hagel to this ministry, because he is an opponent of the external wars. The last thing I read is that a website affiliated to the ministry of defense carried top secret information about a new Israeli military base, which will include the new generation of the ARO missiles. A pro-Likud column was so arrogant as to state that the Obama Administration is leaking state secrets and revealing the Israeli secrets as if Israel and America are one.
There is also Joshua Muravchik, a pro-Likud emigrant to the USA who diffuses his radicalism through pro-Israeli research centers. This time, this genius wrote a fifteen- page report attacking the Israeli Haaretz, as well as its major columnists Amira Hass, Gideon Levy, and Akiva Eldar. I only wish to say that the professionalism, humanitarianism, and honesty of these columnists are worth a thousand Muravchik and his ilk.
All the above is quoted from newspapers, magazines, and websites of the Israeli gang in the USA. I have all the related documents for anyone who wishes to look at the details.
