Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudainah today called on the Israeli government to seize the opportunity of expanding the government coalition to promptly achieve a peace agreement with the Palestinian leadership and people on the basis of references and the resolutions of international legitimacy to achieve just and comprehensive peace to ensure the security and stability of all peoples of the region and eliminate the specter of destructive wars and confrontations and the bloody unrest. In a statement today, Abu Rudainah that this is the time for the Israeli government to reach peace with the Palestinian people through immediate response to the requirements of the peace process to reach the two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the borders of June 1967 with East Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital which requires an immediate termination of all settlement activities in all Palestinian territories. Abu Rudainah said that the new coalition government should be a coalition for peace and not a coalition for war because it is the only way possible to face the great dangers facing the region as a result of the stoppage of the peace process; to stop the tension and the bloody unrest; and pave the way for the construction of security and stability of countries and peoples of the region to face the great risks threatening them.
