The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received at his palace here today President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian National Authority, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Palestine Liberation Organization. During the audience, they discussed the developments of the peace process in the region. President Abbas briefed the Monarch on the outcome of the talks of Annapolis Peace Conference recently held in the United States of America. The King hoped that all international efforts exerted in this regard will result in enabling the Palestinian people to regain their legitimate rights and to set up their independent state on the national land with Al-Quds as its capital. On the Saudi side, the audience was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister. On the Palestinian side, it was attended by former Premier Ahmad Qurea, Advisor to the Palestinian President Nabil Abu Rudainah and Palestine's Ambassador to the Kingdom Jamal Abdullatif Al-Shobaki.
