Majlis Al-Shura today praised the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud to strengthen the bonds of the distinguished bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt and overcome all attempts to undermine this relationship. The Majlis said that directives by the King to return the Saudi ambassador to Cairo to resume work and the reopening of the embassy and consulates in Alexandria and Suez after the passing crisis suffered by the Saudi embassy are conclusive evidence on the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the continuation of relations between the two countries as fundamental pillars in Arab-Arab relations and the joint Arab action. This came at the start of the regular meeting of the Majlis held here this morning under the chairmanship of Speaker of the Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh. In a statement read by Secretary General of Majlis Al-Shura Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, Majlis Al-Shura praised the visit to the Kingdom by a high level Egyptian delegation. The statement highlighted the strength of relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt. In a statement following the session, the Secretary General said that during today's session, Majlis Al-Shura discussed a number of issues on the agenda and approved a draft regulation of the organization of the Saudi Center for Organs Transplant.
