Jordan's King Abdullah II left here today for Brussels on an official visit to Belgium during which he will meet senior European and Belgian officials before heading on Wednesday for the city of Strasbourg. The Jordanian King will deliver a speech before the European Parliament in Strasbourg on means of achieving peace in the Middle East, and European- Jordanian relations. The King will also hold talks with European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and Belgian Prime Minister Di Rupo on Jordanian-European relations and means of further enhancing them as well as the latest Arab and regional developments.
