The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, reaffirmed today the Organization's support for the initiative of United Nations and Arab League Envoy Kofi Annan on the Syrian Crisis, hoping that Syria makes an speedy implementation of the six points put forward by Annan, which have been accepted by it. He said in his speech at the Conference of Friends of the Syrian people in Istanbul this morning that the Organization is ready for contributing to any initiative launched by the Conference to end the Syrian crisis.
