Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Ali Bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi concluded his official visit to the Republic of Sudan after leading the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the sixth meeting of the Saudi-Sudanese Standing Joint Committee yesterday on the joint exploitation of the natural resources at the bottom of the Red Sea in the shared area between the two countries. In his speech during the meeting, Al-Naimi highlighted Saudi-Sudanese cooperation hailing the mining license that was issued by both the Saudi and Sudanese sides nearly two years ago to exploit the mineral resources at the bottom of the Red Sea as a pioneering experience in the field of mining at the global level.
