The Governor of the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), Soliman bin Saad Al-Humayyd said in a statement that it came to GOSI attention that some non-Saudi workers in the private sector were not registered under the Occupational Hazards Branch. "GOSI found that some establishments did not register all of their workers with the Social Insurance Scheme. Such establishments were informed that this act is against the provisions of the Social Insurance Law, urging them to register all of their workers with the Scheme," the Governor said. Al-Humayyd pointed out that employers can access their accounts through GOSI website (GOSIONLINE) in order to view unregistered workers, register new workers and pay due contributions without the need to visit GOSI offices. The Governor called upon all employers to register their workers and pay the due contributions in accordance with the provisions of the Social Insurance Law. He also emphasized that it is against the Law to employ workers without registering them with the Social Insurance Scheme. If such a case happens, fines for delay will be imposed on employers, and their establishments will be classified in the Red Range according to Nitaqat Program implemented by the Ministry of Labor.
