Companies that don't register non-Saudi workers in the social insurance system risk being fined and categorized in the red zone. The Director of General Organization of Social Insurance (GOSI), Sulaiman Bin Saad Al-Humayyid, said that the organization has noticed some non-Saudi private-sector employees have not been registered in the social insurance system under the category of professional risks. On checking, it turned out that there was a difference in the total number of employees and the number registered for insurance, Al-Humayyid said. Establishments are required to register all the workers, he added. “Companies can learn about the number of their unregistered workers by accessing their accounts on GOSI's website, registering the names and paying subscription fees without the need to be physically present at GOSI.” Al-Humayyid urged establishments to start registering all workers without delay or else they will be fined and put into the red zone.
