The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh chaired here today the first session of the third meeting of speakers of parliaments of member states of the Group of Twenty. During the session, which was held under the title "The Global Dialogue of Followers of Religions, Civilizations and Cultures", Member of the Shoura Council Dr. Salih bin Mohammad Al-Namlah presented a working paper on behalf of the Shoura Council. In the paper, he highlighted the importance of dialogue among religions, cultures and peoples as an important means of human communication and peaceful co-existence among peoples. Dr. Al-Namlah stressed Saudi efforts in the field of dialogue locally and internationally including the establishment of King Abdulaziz Center for The National Dialogue and the initiative of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the dialogue.
