On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh opened here today the 3rd Consultative Meeting of Speakers of Parliaments of Member States of the Group of Twenty entitled "Sustainable Economic Growth For Safe World". Addressing the meeting, Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh conveyed the greetings of the King and the Crown Prince to participants in the meeting which is considered as one of the most important international meetings in our time. He pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been in the forefront of countries calling for dialogue between followers of religions and cultures, noting in this regard the King's call for the Conference for Dialogue Among Followers of Religions and Cultures held in Madrid in 2008, a meeting at United Nations Headquarters in New York, and the establishment of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Global Center for Dialogue Among Followers of Religions and Cultures in Vienna. The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will work through this Group and other international financial and monetary institutions to find the best solutions for the recovery of the global economy, and it will spare no efforts in the field of energy and work with the international community to stabilize energy markets and support the dialogue between producers and consumers for the global economic growth sustainability.
