Michael Eissenhauer stressed the great scientific importance of the artifacts displayed in the exhibition, which reflects the great civilizational role of the Kingdom regionally and globally. He said: "Our efforts, which lasted more than a year with our friends in the Kingdom, resulted in the holding of this unique exhibition in Berlin. We held talks with Saudi officials who noted our urgent desire to host the exhibition..." He added that Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, welcomed our request to host the exhibition as the Pergamon Museum is famous in Germany and around the rest of the world.
