The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Germany have signed three cooperation agreements on antiquities excavation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This was announced by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), following the opening ceremony of the exhibition of "The Saudi Archeological Masterpieces through the Ages" hosted by the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, Germany. Prince Sultan bin Salman said that the first agreement is on exploring sunken relics in the deep waters of the Red Sea; the second agreement is on excavating antiquities in Jouf Region; and the third agreement is on searching for historical periods in a region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
