The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has instructed that each of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Contest for the Memorization of the holy Quran and Sunna (Prophet's deeds and sayings) for male and female students, organized by the National Guard, and the National Guard Contest for the Memorization of the holy Quran and Sunna (Prophet's deeds and sayings) for military personnel of the National Guard be merged under the name of the Prize of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Memorization of the holy Quran and Sunna (Prophet's deeds and sayings), under the supervision of King Abdulaziz Public Library. In a statement to SPA, Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammar, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and General Supervisor of King Abdulaziz Public Library, lauded the efforts exerted by organizers of the two contests before merger.
