UNDER THE PATRONAGE OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDULAZIZ; KING ABDULAZIZ INTERNATIONAL CONTEST FOR THE HOLY QURAN MEMORIZATION, RECITATION AND INTERPRETATION ENDED ITS ACTIVITIES HERE ON SUNDAY EVENING.
THE CONTEST WAS ORGANIZED BY THE MINISTRY OF ISLAMIC AFFAIRS, ENDOWMENTS, CALL AND GUIDANCE.
ZUBEIR BIN HAMZA FROM NIGER, SPEAKING ON BEHALF OF THE COMPETITORS EXPRESSED APPRECIATION FOR THE GREAT EFFORTS EXERTED BY THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT TO ORGANIZE THE CONTEST.
'IT IS NOT A NEW GESTURE FROM SAUDI ARABIA AS THE HOLY QURAN AND THE SUNNAH (THE PROPHET'S TEACHINGS) FORMS THE BASIC TENETS OF ITS CONSTITUTION', HE SAID.
