An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted Simeulue, Aceh province, Monday evening, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said here on Monday night. It said that quake which took place at 8.20 pm Western Indonesia Time (WIB) had no potentials to create a tsunami. The BMKG office recorded that the epicenter of the quake was located at a depth of 10 km beneath the sea, about 77 km to the southeast of Simeulue district, Aceh. It is located at 2.13 degrees northern latitude and -96.61 degrees eastern longitude, ANTARA reported.
