Crude oil prices climbed above $100 per barrel Tuesday, as equities rose in Asia and Europe, according to UPI. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude added $1.64 to reach $100.42 per barrel. Home heating oil added 3.72 cents to $3.075 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline gained 2.09 cents to $2.8936 per gallon. Henry Hub natural gas prices shed 1.56 cents to $2.557 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline rose to $3.443 per gallon Tuesday from Monday's $3.429, AAA said.
