Crude oil prices in New York dropped to less than $94 a barrel overnight after a shaky seven weeks on Wall Street, UPI reported. The 30-component Dow Jones industrial average began the trading day Friday about 10 points ahead of Monday's start at 11,951.91. Equity markets headed higher early, but the week's potential gains come after six consecutive weeks of losses. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude oil for July delivery dropped $1.43 to $93.52 per barrel. Home heating oil prices shed 3.06 cents to $2.9732 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline prices dropped 2.2 cents to $2.9274 per gallon. Henry Hub natural gas prices added 3.5 cents to $4.447 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline dropped 1 cent to $3.675 per gallon, AAA said.
