Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh on Thursday discussed with UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Robert Serry, the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli meetings in Amman within efforts to achieve the two-state solution. Judeh said Jordan attached great importance to the role of the Quartet, adding that Jordan is keen to coordinate and exchange ideas with the Quartet to ensure a positive outcome of the meetings and create an appropriate climate for resuming serious and direct negotiations between the Palestinians and Israelis.
