The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi met here today with the Majority Leader of U.S. House of Representatives Eric Cantor and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they reviewed the situation of the international oil market, the importance of cooperation and coordination between oil producing and consuming countries for the stability of world oil markets, and development of relations and cooperation between the two countries in the field of petroleum, mining and the environment, especially the promotion of joint investments. The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs; Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Advisor at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources; Advisor at the Ministry for Corporate Affairs Abdulrahman Bin Mohammad Abdulkarim; a number of the Ministry's senior officials; and U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia James B. Smith.
