Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Ali Al-Naimi met here today President of the Federal Agency for Energy Affairs in Russia Serrji Onmanisan and the accompanying delegation. Speaking on the occasion, Al-Naimi highlighted the existing cooperation between the Kingdom and Russia in oil affairs. 'As the Kingdom and Russia are the biggest oil producing and exporting countries in the world, then it will be an essential matter for them to enhance their cooperation and coordination at the world oil market', said Al-Naimi. He pointed out that the two countries are keen on stable oil prices that serves the interests of both oil producing and consuming countries, and that positively contributes to the growth of the world economy. The meeting was attended by Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, the Advisor at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and other senior officials.
