AlQa'dah 3, 1432, Oct 1, 2011, SPA -- Minister of Petroleum & Mineral resources, Ali Ibrahim Al Naimi met here today with Italy's Minister of Economic Development Paolo Romani and the accompanying delegation. The meeting addressed the international oil market situation, the importance of stability, and the significance of cooperation between producing and consuming countries for this purpose. The meeting also dealt with ways to develop bilateral cooperation in the fields of petroleum, energy, mining, and encouraging investments between the two countries and cooperation in the fields of environment and technology. Al Naimi pointed out that the international oil market is characterized at the present time by balance of supply and demand, and said, "The Kingdom is ready to do its positive role for the stability of the market." The Italian minister praised the positive role played by the Kingdom in order to stabilize the international oil market. The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Advisor at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and other officials.
