Secretary General of United Nations Ban Ki-moon has received in his office in New York the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahya Almoa'alimi who delivered to him a message from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's donation of USD25 million to support the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. During the reception, the Secretary-General of the United Nations expressed deep thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for its generous contribution to the fight against these diseases and its constant contributions to various United Nations programs designed to serve humanity and alleviate the suffering of those affected in various parts of the world. The Ambassador stressed the Kingdom's role in support of United Nations programs aimed to help the needy and to provide humanitarian services to those affected in various parts of the world based on its desire and the keenness of their leaders to react quickly to humanitarian assistance programs of the United Nations aiming at providing assistance to the needy everywhere.
