Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior has expressed pleasure over patronizing the handing-over ceremony of King Khalid Award in its second session to Saudi winners.Addressing the ceremony here last night, the Crown Prince said that the Award has sublime objectives in its various branches including national achievements, social sciences and projects and responsible competitiveness, stressing that the Award has ignited the flame of competition for charitable and national achievements and has played a positive role in supporting the State's efforts in these important aspects. The Crown Prince indicated that the Award of National Achievements in its first session was awarded to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in recognition of his great roles in several areas, especially education, and that the Award of National Achievements in its second session was awarded to the late Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in recognition of his great roles in charitable humanitarian works at home and abroad and his active contribution to developing charitable humanitarian institutional works in the Kingdom and the world. He wished those responsible for the Award all success and that the Award will be a tributary to the State in the achievement of its efforts in charitable, social, developmental sectors. --MORE
