An Illinois prison inmate is back in custody after being at-large for several hours, authorities said. Cesar Sanchez escaped from a moving van near Lockport Friday afternoon while he was being taken back to the Stateville Correctional Center in Joliet from a hearing at the Bridgeview courthouse, the Chicago Tribune reported. He then allegedly jumped aboard a delivery truck to make his getaway, the newspaper said. Sanchez, 37, who is serving a seven-year prison term for burglary, was found 6 hours later in a portable toilets storage site in Rockdale south of Joliet by police aided by police dogs and a helicopter crew using infrared technology, UPI reported. Officers said they were checking a portable toilet and noticed movement in its chemical tank, spotted Sanchez and took him into custody.
